Gender is considered a "touchy" subject by those who are really ignorant on the sciences involved. So let's open with the fact that bothers the ignorant morons the most: gender is entirely unnecessary and arbitrary, in other words, gender is subjective.
First the sexism, females did not evolve to be better or worse in the brain, while the hormones appear to have an effect on the brain's structure, this is not primarily genetic. Hormones vary depending on foods consumed, environment, even emotion.
High emotions absorb more of the chemicals that are associated with the female of the species, resulting in the body needing to produce more to maintain the balance it has determined best. Each individual will have a perfect balance for them, as determined by trial and error in the brain until the brain feels comfortable.
As we grow up our brain constantly tests reality around us, the result is that it can adapt to the environment which it resides in, and the way the brain communicates this to the other organs is by adjusting the hormone mixture, sort of a word soup. Our species is becoming more adapted to sedentary life, and more dependent on the brain, thus we are seeing an increase in hormones responsible for these, hormones incorrectly associated with females.
The result is a lower metabolism, needing less fats and proteins to survive, and a greater need for chemicals like caffeine to increase the brain's activity without ingesting too much fat. Many media outlets misread that, or spin it, to make it sound like coffee has been determined to be healthy, or some other nonsense.
The reality is that caffeine has been seen to be effective in helping us to adapt to our new environments better. Fat is not bad, neither is cholesterol, we just need less of it because our muscles are less important and thus need less fuel.
But fat is still necessary, and people who's bodies store it well have the greatest value to us because we still need builders. So stop reading the media crap about science.
As you can see, hormones are not associated so much with gender as you are told, though it does determine how the body starts to build it's first cells, but this is still not gender dependent. The hormones "fed" to the developing organism do affect it's development and determine the initial balance, thus hormones have the reverse effect in the womb.
This is why the bearer of the developing organism has very chaotic hormone levels during the pregnancy, which becomes more stable each time as the body loses it's ability to change the balance with age and stress. Now the reason doctors once thought there was a genetic imperative for this, the chromosomes that determine the reproductive organs.
These chromosomes have no direct effect on the hormones produced, the hormones are determined by which genes in the hormone producing cells are turned on. The genitals, collection of reproductive organs on apes and most mammals, were once thought to be so important that any modification to them would profoundly impact the organism.
Which is hypocritical, because we modified other species in irreversible ways but refuse to allow our own species to do the same. Just pure hypocrisy and egocentrism, no wonder why the USA is most notorious for this.
It does alter the hormone presence a lot, gametes are made of the cells that produce some key hormones, specifically testosterone and estrogen which are integral in emotional stability. Us humans can take medications to stabilize or even alter these, but we do not even offer other species thus basic right when we remove their gametes.
The loss of the genitals has no other ill effect, we know this as a fact, and sexism and bigotry is so rampant in the medical industry that doctors will allow women to have their gametes and even the rest of the genitalia to be removed, but say it's bad for males or transgendered to ask for the same thing. It's because male parts are considered sacred to the medical industry while women are thought to be disposable sex dolls and incubators.
You're welcome, medical assholes, nothing stays secret with me for long.
The reality of the matter is that we need the females to be kept untarnished far more than the male parts, and by not allowing transgendered to modify themselves accordingly you only increase the chance of our genes propagating in the entire population. So why does it all seem important?
Because society sucks, the most popular ideas are almost never the best ideas, and often cause far more harm to the entire species than the least popular ideas could. So stop being dicks, because you are the root of all our problems.

Transgendered Allies - A Call to Arms for the USA
A short while ago I wrote a blog post about how those we stood for vanish when transgendered people are attacked, often they join the attackers. The posting of the brought out some unlikely allies, people who have nothing to gain by transgendered equality.
If this is the trend in the world today, we have not moved ahead much. Progress is not made by offering special privileges, but by offering equality, gay and black rights are special privileges if they ignore the transgendered, Asians, etc.
This we see, black kids attacking and killing transgendered being heralded as heroes by the media, gay people refusing to acknowledge transgendered people with respect. So who are these allies I speak of?
The very people the gay and black folks are being oppressed by: straight white people, and Mexicans. The irony is so very thick in this revelation that I find it too difficult to swallow.
These are people who are standing with the transgendered against their own privilege, against their own class of people, to admit that how we are treated by their own is bad. They offer help, but most of all, they offer a simple and effective "I'm sorry."
By standing with us they prove that the stereotypes their own often cling to are completely wrong, these stereotypes were created and enforced by psychiatrists, only psychology works to dispel this. Ah, the connection is made.
The huge difference between the cishet who stand with us and the others is the scientific mind, they think in ways that remove the need for stereotypes. Suddenly they realize one simple truth, us being who we are has no more impact on their lives than someone who gets a nipple pierced or a tattoo of Elvis on their bum.
In reality, changing one's gender is no different than having silicon implanted into your body to shape it, technically the gender change is safer and can even prevent future illnesses caused by the presence of gametes. So why do psychiatrists claim transgendered people are insane?
The phrase is "status quo." Psychiatrists, unlike psychologists, have used the population as test subjects in mad scientists like experiments since the occupation came into existence, who better to experiment on than those they have convinced others are insane?
The results of their experiments are the deaths of millions of people, which they used stereotypes to convince others that these people are better off being dead. Enter the group who cannot be stereotyped, the transgendered.
Historically, transgendered people have always been revered, even among the most violent cultures, though also left to the gutter at the same time. we have been the untouchable minority of history, until psychiatry came along. Psychiatrists saw us as the biggest threat to their power, we demonstrated that no living thing can ever be expected to fit into a box.
So they worked hard to convince their pool of test subjects that we were more insane than anyone else, which opposes everything we have learned since. Scientifically speaking, transgendered is simply another gender which cannot manifest in the mammalian genome, due to the fact that our genes only produce a binary gender system.
This creates a huge gray area which cannot be expressed by any one gender trait, so the organism must find a balance between the two genders that best serves to make it comfortable. We call thus gray are transgendered, and like black holes, the term is maintained even though it's highly inaccurate based on what we have learned.
The notion of gender disphoria is wrong, an incorrect label created by the nonscientific cadre called psychiatry as a way of claiming we were insane, psychology admits that no such unifying label can ever be applied to the collective differences included in transgendered. So now we have a huge problem, in the USA people still cling to the power hungry, mad scientist mentality, of the sadistic cadre called psychiatry, and largely ignore the scientific field of academia called psychology.
So the psychologists do what the can to help the transgendered, they allow us the protection of disability, using many of the effects of social oppression to justify it by labeling us as depressed, antisocial, etc. just so we can at least stay out of society and in the safety of our own homes. But this has a price, one which I will no longer pay, of being hidden.
The heart of psychologists is in the right place, they offer us a means of remaining hidden and therefore safer from the oppressive majority, but this has resulted in it being more dangerous for us to venture or even participate in society. So now we begin to speak out, seeing many of our brothers and sisters being slaughtered and ridiculed by the majority just for being unique has fueled our resolve.
We are now seeing a huge group of allies, true allies, who have the power to severely hurt the majority of society while remaining safely Anonymous. Yes, our greatest ally and a group many of us now belong to has demonstrated the ability to destroy society by removing the very tools we created for it is a true ally to the transgendered.
So I offer this call to arms, disband all psychiatric powers, replace them with the scientifically based psychology, and stop oppressing the transgendered people. We are watching now, USA, your move.

Leelah Alcorn - Her Murderous Parents
It has come to my attention that the USA is still stuck in 1800 … BC, especially for transgendered people. Consider this: you can have synthetic silicone injected into your breasts, a deadly virus injected into your face, and poisonous inks injected into any surface without even a single psychiatric evaluation; but to do the planet a favor and have your genitals removed or modified requires not only two full psychiatric evaluations and 1,000 times the cost of the procedure in funds, but also 10 years of living in the most dangerous environment with no safety, no protections, and no respect.
That's just the requirement for the surgery, society here has no respect for the transgender, when they realize you are one. I am considered 100% passable by the medical industry and supporters, even after getting to know me it is impossible to tell I am transgendered without seeing me nude, or seeing my birth certificate.
This produces a very hostile and dangerous situation, not only do my own alienate me without knowing it, I cannot take the chance of making any local friends lest they find out and kill me, which is legal in the USA in all states except California. Even in California the law is useless to the person who is dead, they were erased from the planet just because society is unwilling to accept some very basic facts.
The first fact is this: we exist. Get over it, deal with your own insecurities and stop taking them out on us.
Second fact: we have no choice, but you do. It takes a conscious effort to hate someone, and we have a genetic predisposition to be us, one which is largely ignored and misunderstood by all but real biologists.
Third fact: your comfort is no more important than ours, stop pretending like you are the center of the universe. We all have to live on this over populated world because straight cis breeders won't take responsibility for their own actions, yet we are the one being blamed for doing the world and our own species a favor by reducing the chances of increasing that population beyond the breaking point. Don't blame us for your stupidity.
Fourth fact: removing or modifying the genitals not only has health benefits, it is a billion times safer than a tattoo. Not that tattoos are wrong, some are awesome, but put some damned perspective into your head for once.
Fifth fact: it costs the public more to care for transgendered people for one year prior to surgery than the surgery costs. You pay for it, in all cases, because your hatred of us is what makes us unable to find jobs. You could hire us for actual jobs, instead of ridiculing us after you discover what we are. You were our friend for years before I told you, nothing changed except you.
There's the biggest problem, cishet change their perspective of us when they find out, even though there was no chance they'd get into a sexual relationship. They suddenly invent some slight that never truly existed, only because of their invented fear of the unknown.
The fact you could not tell is not because we lied, it's because we are the gender you mistook us for. You lie to yourself when you say otherwise, you are the one pretending to care about people but place such shallow conditions on your friendship and love, you are the reason we die horrible deaths.
The term cognitive dissonance comes to mind, because we shatter your idiotic and invented notions of what reality is so you become violent to defend your fantasy world, and we pay the price for you being unable to deal with reality. This is your fault, not ours.
We owe no one anything, for we do no harm to anyone else and often seek safe medical help but end up becoming the toys of a cruel psychiatrist for our efforts. Psychiatrists who are given legal rights to kill their patients under the false pretense of science.
This is your fault, cishet, because you made us then turn your back on us just because we are different from what you thought you were making. Ironically this is not the end of our problems.
Almost all transgendered people have fought for gay rights, against racism, for animal rights, and even for women rights. But the only ones who stand with us when we really need it are not the ones we fought for, the small percentage of cishet who are intelligent and/or caring.
We get harassed and publicly executed by black folks, gay people turn their backs when we ask for help, women deny we exist, and the animals that are not human have no power to change us. Which makes it almost everyone's fault that the transgendered are slaughtered in horrible ways, slaughtered even in the USA.
So when you try to sleep at night, know this, one transgendered person in the USA is being tortured to death somewhere because you don't care.

Bigotry Knows Only One Target
One trend I have noticed is that transgendered and asexual people tend to be the most active and outspoken for equal rights and sane treatment of the planet, compared to even homosexuals and other minorities. This is evident in the fact that most of us support marriage equality, even though it does not impact us very much at all.
Marriage licenses, as the bans are written, are based on the gender on the identification card, since that can be altered with a psychological referral inmost states it becomes inconsequential to those who are transgendered. (Hint to gay people, get your partner to be declared as the opposite gender on their state ID to flip off the idiotic bigots opposing equality, it would make me happy yo see.)
The reason for this may be selfish, we are the most ignored and abused minorities on the planet, in order to get attention we need the others to get their equality first because of that. If you asserted this as the reason I would not argue, it is perfectly logical and, in spite of the possible slippery slope fallacy it fuels, it benefits everyone. This is, however, not the case.
The real supporters of transgendered rights, whether transgendered or not, have a much more altruistic reason, empathy. We have been there, no minority on the planet can claim any mistreatment that we have not endured, and still endure, a hundred times over. The end result is that we can feel your pain when you are discriminated, and that bothers us, a lot.
When we hear of injustice in the world, we are reminded of the problems we face every day, even in the countries claiming to be more civilized. A few countries seek to reduce our suffering, all in Europe, and for that we must be grateful, however it only alleviates the suffering caused by society and idiotic stereotypes created by religion, and fueled by psychiatry, supported by bigotry.
So minorities who are facing adversity, look for us in your protests, spreading the facts online, and showing our support in constructive ways. We do understand, because you treat us the same every day, yet we still stand with you. So the next time you see a transgendered person suffering, remember that we stood by you when you faced the same.
We care, because we do not want you to suffer the way you make us suffer. We seek to improve society, not for our own benefit but because we feel the pain and indignation that society causes when it turns on one group because of fallacious notions fueling hatred. We reach out a hand in friendship to those in their moments of weakness, because we know, we are always there. You all have the privilege of seeing the light, we do not.

The Problem With Heterosexual Society
Society is a hypocritical mess in many ways, one is how it views sex. Asexuality is spoke of as of it's the ultimate in purity, yet society constantly tells us asexual people that we don't exist. This creates a lot of stress, and leads us to do a lot of dangerous things before we stop listening to society.
The result is that most asexuals are more well versed, more knowledgeable, in sexual matters of all sorts. Thus often catches others off guard, and we tend to be marginalized even more as a result. The failed notion that a person simply cannot lack sexual pleasure or desire has caused the spread of the genetic traits for asexuality, and other non-reproductive tendencies.
By convincing those who have these genetic traits that they don't exist, or that they are lying, they are often pressured into breeding, passing these traits onto even more people in the populations. This creates a slow but steady increase in the occurrence of said traits. In essence, the growing population of homosexuals, transgendered, and even asexuals, is the fault of the heterosexual population pressuring us to deny what we are.
Another problem created is that those who deny what they are become hypersexual, they are desperate to find something considered acceptable to society that pleases them, so they try everything, with anyone willing, or even unwilling. This hypersexuality spills into society creating a severe conflict in the way people think, this conflict leads to violence and self destruction, even suicide.
The standard occurrence of the traits causing non-reproduction in humans should be a total of no more than 10%, due to the fact that they should not be spreading into the population. But the actual rate for our species has exceeded 10%, sucks to be heterosexual in the future.
But then, straight people are to blame for this explosion in the appearance of these traits, you made your bed now you must lay in it. On the bright side, we do have a problem with the population being too high, allowing people to be themselves at this point will correct that problem enough that we will not have to begin forced sterilization of population segments.
So all you who hate gay people, those who deny the existence of asexual humans, the ones who attack transgendered folks, remember, you are the reason we even exist.

Jared Leto - The Scapegoat
Recently the Advocate had a very well written article on this story, I have nothing to really add on it so here is the story:
Op-ed: What People Don't Get About Dismay Over Jared Leto
Though I have nothing to add to the article's content, or change for that matter, I want to add my voice to this chorus of disappointed cries.
Being transgender is not an illness, it is not a disability, nor is it in any way dangerous, inherently. However many people who are transgender are labeled as ill or disabled, and many are placed in harm's way by idiotic bigots who have nothing more than their own insecurities guiding their actions.
Laws are being drawn up in the USA that are being paraded from both sides as political clout, nothing more. Those supporting them are simply saving face for decades of ignoring us, and those opposing these laws are doing so with underhanded tactics that prey on the insecurities of morons who didn't learn anything after high school.
That's the problem with all this, this screaming and posturing for the political and ethical high ground, transgender people have become nothing more than a symbol to these people. When you show support by voting for a party just because they sound like they care, you are really just telling us that you don't care at all.
Many times a transgender person is belittled by both those who claim to support, and those who oppose, our equality. Bathroom laws, which were brought to the front of the media circus because of a statistic that does not really mean what they claim, are nothing more than pandering. The very fact that you need laws for this is evidence of how little you care.
The fact that you need to enforce our right to live as our "preferred gender" demonstrates that you have no clue what transgender is. The fact that you tack on labels like "dysphoria" only betray just how naive you are about the brain and biology.
It is not "preferred," nor is it a mental illness, nor is there anything wrong with us. There is a lot wrong with you though, those who keep feigning support and those who attack us, your education is lacking to such as point as to be laughable.
Here's a small hint, a tiny little clue on what to research, to understand the message I have typed here: Gender is not as definitive to any species as we once thought.
I am not here to explain everything to you, only to point you in the right direction.

Shelter Life - A Time of Deep Insight
In previous posts I have stated I was "100% passable," that essentially means I have no traits that are considered opposite of my gender identity, even my voice and face offer no reason for anyone to question my gender. While this has produced a lot of complications and resulted in discrimination by the medical industry, it did offer me a very unique position in the shelter system while I was a resident of it. I had informed the staff of my situation, only to reduce the risk of discrimination from them, but the other residents had no idea.
This was not a deception, nor a lie, I never once lied to the residents, they just made their own assumptions and accepted those without question. Who was I to correct them, right? It was their belief and they were, and are, entitled to those beliefs, it is not my right to shatter their beliefs with facts and reality. At the time I just really didn't care, shelter life was about living through the day, and nothing more.
But this very unique position, being an atheist and transgendered, helped me to become more critical of what the women said, their choices of words and conversations. They spoke so openly around me, since I never added anything to the conversations and they believed I was just like them. What I had heard was appalling, today I speak against it all the time, working to dispel the myths and misconceptions I had heard in these times I was incognito.
The very few who managed to figure out what I was, usually by some rather aggressive curiosity, still did not see me as any different than the others, just more informed and a great source of information. The more educated women often turned to me as their encyclopedia of obscure information, information that they had not even considered studying until they met me. I was the sage of the shelters for women, considered wiser than my age, but you had to ask the right questions, or you'd not get the right answers.
The conversations of the others, the ones who never had any reason to consider me different than they were, had become the focus of my attention very quickly. There were other transgendered women in the shelters, one who's brain was scrambled by psychiatric medications for problems she did not really have, another was very young and passable enough as to not be seen as much of a threat, and the last that I knew of was an older one who had fallen prey to the nonsense and become an alcoholic. All the the three were always treated so well to their faces, the women behaved with respect and even acted like they were best friends of these women.
But when these transgendered women were not present, the vile hatred that filled the conversations regarding them was a shocking contrast. Many of the things they said about the one who had given up were so horrible that I cannot repeat them legally, or morally. Sure, she had become weak, fallen into a pit of despair, allowing the negativity of those around her break her own resolve. But that was no reason to hate her, it was only a valid reason to pity, and try to help, this poor creature. But the women honestly hated her, and for reasons that defied logic.
They would refer to her in the inappropriate gender when she was not present, and often say it was unfair she was allowed in their shelter. Before I left, I had already signed my lease and was working to leave so I saw no reason to remain the observer, I confronted one, asking why it is they believed a shelter was a place for sexual activity. It was at that moment they realized just who had been watching them for all that time, who was taking notes, and the look of horror on their face, the raw guilt of knowing they were complicit, was worth having endured hearing those horrible words they spewed.
Last I had seen, she was no longer a bigot, but instead treated everyone equally. Such a drastic change in a person, I was given hope for humanity by it. The damage she had done could never be repaired, but she was no longer a threat to humanity because of one simple question. The transgendered woman is still in that deep dark pit though, sadly, it does not appear she has the strength to lift herself from it, drowning her pain in alcohol. She could help so many people with her own story, if only she'd see the value of them.
The younger one was very stereotypical, one of those transgendered women who seemed to be only interested in sex and clothing. When I first met her I thought she may be a lost cause, that some people will just be stereotypes. I did speak with her, often helping her out when I could, offering a hand in friendship to her as often as I could. The other women seemed to have almost no interest in her, even when she was out of sight they didn't gossip about her at all. It was as if those who fit the stereotypes were somehow better than those who didn't, to them. That bothered me more than the gossip though, accepting that stereotypes are better is essentially saying we are all robots with predefined personalities.
I could never bring myself to tell her how much damage she was doing to the transgendered community as a whole, because even if she was a stereotype, it was still her choice to be who she wanted to be. It was that internal conflict that probably encouraged me to be so kind to her, it never occurred to me that sharing my story may change profoundly alter her perspective. She was an interesting person, often upbeat and without a care in the world. I was envious of her at those times, how even the worst of life couldn't touch her.
At that time I had started getting into a routine, which is the worst thing to do when living in a shelter, you become a permanent fixture of that culture. It felt like I had lost the will to fight, the will to cause change in the world. So I just regarded her as a distant friend, one who I would help when I could, when it was convenient. I should have become more involved in her life and formed a much stronger bond, but hindsight is always better.
She got out of the shelter system before I had, of course she had discovered what I was before that and seemed to regard me with some pity, and some respect. I ran into her one day, much later, and it was like seeing a different person, not just different, but a complete person. Her knowing me had altered her own perception of herself so much that I now saw a beautiful young, intelligent, and secure lesbian.
A rather surprising turn in what I had known, she had broken free of living the stereotype and become someone unique who no longer cared what society thought, and no longer behaved how society expected her to behave. I felt as if I had just seen a daughter graduate from higher education, at least I imagine the feeling was the same. I do not know where she is now, but I am certain she is well and happy.
The third transgendered woman, the one who's mind was destroyed by psychiatrists, I had never known her prior to that. Though I could say she is the second friend of mine that psychiatry has killed. You see, I always defended her, stood up for her even against those in charge. She is also what has encouraged me to actively fight against psychiatry, to take it to their throats. She was a very well educated nurse, before the psychiatrists got hold of her, well adjusted, pleasant. The people who knew her before they killed her would reminisce about how great of a person she was.
I had made friends with many of the staff, and one in particular had known this woman for many years, and seen what horrible monsters the medical community is to transgendered people. The staff member was a cis woman, one of those women who truly treated everyone equally and had no hangups at all. I am honored to call her a friend, but it was her who had informed me of the sad tale of the transgendered woman who was slaughtered by psychiatrists in the guise of helping her.
She had an emotional breakdown, a very common thing for many humans, our minds can only take so much stress before this happens. The best treatment for such a case is to place them in a safe environment and allowing them to just work it out in their heads. This is the only treatment that has ever worked, ever. But that is not what they did. Instead, the psychiatrist used her being transgendered as an excuse to declare her unfit, then force her to take medications that completely destroyed her. That is murder, it is a form of murder that is not only legal, but considered acceptable by everyone.
When she was finally released her mind was completely shattered. She could no longer differentiate between reality and imagination, her perception of reality was so skewed that she could not even remain focused on one task. She had a place to live, but kept returning to the shelter, the last place she had ever felt safe in. She had to be reminded to bathe, could not manage her own bowels or urination, and went on incoherent rants.
She would let very few people near her, trust was gone, and rightfully so. With no friends, and the one time she trusted some stranger they killed her, she was lost in a maddening cloud of reality and delusion. I still cry thinking about it, knowing full well that if I give them a chance, they will do that to me as well, just for being different then them. The rather peculiar part, something very few people knew, was that she would talk to me. Though I could only understand some of what she said, I listened to every word.
I always treated her with respect, always kind to her, never once did I mock or get angry with her. Sometimes her delusion would overpower her behavior, and she'd become a bit of a nuisance, others would scream and yell at her, demanding she be quiet and settle down. I'd glare at them for a moment until they were all silent, then calmly, politely, and respectfully ask her to calm down. The sheer anger of the other women when she would apologize to me for being too noisy was something of a mixed emotion. On one hand, it felt good to let them know that I was more capable of handling the situation than they were, but it was a horrible notion to think that they did not understand why my method worked better.
All our lives, the transgendered people are told what we should do, how we should act, what we should be. All our lives we are considered outcasts yet also expected to conform to being outcast. We are rarely ever offered any real choice in our lives, we treat everyone with kindness, treat everyone equally, and offer help when we can. But when we need help, when we are forced to put ourselves into dangerous situations, we are the ones blamed for it, always. We are scorned, tormented, beaten, and discarded. People feign friendship, then wish us harm when we are not present, insult us when we make even a tiny mistake.
Is it not enough that we have more problems to deal with socially? No, of course not, the medical industry does not care about us, they are just as abusive to us. When the safest place for a transgendered is in the shelters, there is something wrong with your society. It's not our problem, it's not our flaw, it's society that is wrong. When hospitals turn us away for simple needs, or worse offer us to the butchers we call psychiatrists, where can we turn for our health? When everything we do right is considered wrong, why should we continue to conform to your ideals? When we abandoned by those we once cared about, why should we care about anyone but our own?
Society does not teach us well, young and old, the transgendered community has no reason to regard society as important, nor valuable to us. Yet, we are all still have such kind hearts as to still hold out our hands in aid, not only to our own, but to other people. Who is the purest in a society, if not the one who society harms most?
This was not a deception, nor a lie, I never once lied to the residents, they just made their own assumptions and accepted those without question. Who was I to correct them, right? Transgendered Asexual - Contradiction or Misconception?
Often people will incorrectly assume a person who is transgendered is inherently sexual, even excessively sexual. But in reality, transgender only refers to a person's gender, not their sexuality at all. A transgendered person can be gay, straight, or even bisexual ... or asexual. The problem here lies in the fact that people still have several misconceptions, not only about transgendered people, but also asexual people.
The most common myth I hear is that people cannot be asexual. That patently false, humans cannot reproduce asexually like bacteria or viruses, but they can lack sexual desires and attractions. This results in a lack of sexual orientation, dating does not count as sex, nor is sexual attraction required to love someone else, of any gender. The entire culture of false dichotomies has produced more myths and misconceptions than one could cover in a single blog post, and here I am focusing on these two specifically.
In reality, sexuality, as I have addressed in a previous blog post, cannot be simplified into only two categories, or labels. Asexual people are the most forgotten and oppressed of all sexual types, because of the false dichotomies. Many people do not even consider bisexuals to be real, another victim of the same false dichotomy. Gender is one of the most common false dichotomies as well.
A transgendered person is not going to inherently want to be the opposite gender, there is, and has to be, a lot of gray there. Some want to be non-gendered, as in having absolutely no gender identity or even identifying traits at all, yet society will not accept these people. To make matters worse, even transgendered people will not accept the ones who are in the gray areas as well. I have been a victim of the latter. In life I am literally 100% passable, even when I attempted to be male people would often ask if I was really a female, I had no simple answer for them at the time.
I am one of those in the gray area, but when push comes to shove I enter the role of female only because society will not allow me the neutral gender, having no gender or genitals is simply not an option, according to society and medical doctors. This part is key, the medical community denies that people could want to live both sexless and genderless. Which is contrary to what science has discovered recently. Not only do people with sexless and genderless roles exist, we are abused more by medical personnel than anyone else.
I have avoided adding my voice to this, mainly because I am completely passable as a female that I have a unique opportunity to witness the hatred for transgendered people from the other side, to hear the women who, in front of one they know being transgendered will be kind to them, say vile and disgusting things about them when not in their presence. This hidden hatred has bothered me, and I have done what I can to combat it, and due to a development in my life which may mean serious problems, I have decided to finally dive into my problems.
Homosexuals have almost attained equality, the finish line is in sight and the majority are now willing to see such problems as they are instead of shying from them. Transgendered will gain this equality next, the time for them is near, however the non-gendered will still be left in the closets, along with the asexual and bisexual people. So will the other gender identities, like the cross-gendered. The answer the medical community has for all these variations is to diagnose them as psychologically unstable, then sweep the under the carpet.
I have had a run through the system, just admitting what I am to a psychiatrist gave him the sudden urge to get me locked away, of course he did not realize he was dealing with someone who was just as manipulative as he is and I was released as quickly. I have learned how to play any and all medical systems now, I am not one to take being abused without learning how to abuse them in return. I am still stuck on disability, it is difficult, if possible at all, to get a business to hire you when you are diagnosed with depression, in spite of the fact that depression is the most mild of all the disabilities and those of us with that diagnosis can, and often want to, work just as well as any other employee.
So now it is time to expose the system for how corrupt and abusive it really is. I have addressed much of the problems with psychiatrists and medical doctors in previous posts, showing how they can be just as abusive in general to everyone. Now I will explain how they are wasting billions of your tax dollars on a minority so small that a single person could actually count us. I will give you two minorities for the price of one, seeing as how I belong to the two smallest of the smallest minority groups in the world.
Yes, billions on two groups of people that account for such a small number as to be countable without the inaccuracy of statistical math, and that's putting both groups together as one. What the medical community does when you admit to being asexual is assume you are lying. They will often run you through a battery of tests, often at the expense of the taxpayers, that are completely unnecessary, which often causes them to miss any real problems that eventually grow into something worse, which the taxpayer has to pay for correcting later at an even greater expense. All this amounts to a lot of money for one patient being bled from the state and federal funds. Simply so they can deny that the person is what they admit to being.
Yes, an asexual person will not need most tests for STDs, yet I am often tested, unknowingly, for all of them. These are not cheap tests, I am tested for them because being transgendered they assume I am lying about being asexual. When I had the gallstone attacks, the only things they tested me for were STDs and other less common ailments, gallstones are quite common in those with low testosterone, women and any transgendered women. This means they ignored one key part of my medical history, just to deny that I was what I admitted to being, there was no need to check for STDs without first eliminating the more common ailments.
The end result was a surgery that was complicated because of the delay in diagnosis, which cost the state several thousand dollars. It could have cost about $1K, maybe even less, had there been no complications, however the complications also called for a lengthy hospital stay for recovery, which included meals of course. Luckily the hospital I was at had wonderful food, but I didn't feel like eating much so I didn't jack up much of a bill there, you're welcome. This is not uncommon, not for people like me, however, since I am part of a very small minority you will not see much in the media about it, even online you'd be hard pressed to find many of us.
The other is that the state could fund for a surgery that would cost a couple thousand dollars, done by professionals who have actual training. Instead they would rather force us to get an unnecessary surgery, and instead pay for hospitalization caused by complications due to not getting the simpler version. Not only that, but the more expensive surgeons lack in training, plastic surgeons do not have the stringent requirements a urologist does, nor the specialization in that particular area, which means it's a high risk procedure on it's own. Now I do say unnecessary, for asexual transgendered people specifically. We don't want the genitals, and it's not a sexual thing, we have no interest in sex and thus the entire surgery would simply be a waste.
Now, the part you pay for, the taxpayer. Often to hide the genitalia a transgendered woman, or asexual transgendered, must use method which commonly reduce the circulation to that particular body part. Medical doctors warn against purposefully removing the circulation, it can cause blood clots, and even other dangerous conditions long after you stop. These are paid for by the taxpayers, the conditions and ailments caused by reducing circulation. Instead of offering the simple procedure, cost effective one, to us willing to accept them, they insist on forcing us to wait.
Now, if you are still reading all this, you will see that there is a suspicious pattern to all of this. My previous posts about medical practitioners should now make much more sense, and demonstrate why I have pointed out that greed drives them all. Well, greed and power, but mostly greed. I have been told, indirectly, by medical professionals that I am lying about what I am, psychiatrists often look at me with disdain, even hatred. But on realizing that my life may be cut short soon, and that I may not have any reason to be happy about dying, I will be more aggressive against these vile monsters, the medical professionals who have almost allowed me to suffer to death, and who continually ignore the fact that I may have an issue between my legs which will eventually cost taxpayers millions.
Nothing they do now will be in the dark. That includes those doctors at Virginia Mason hospital, and those at Harborview hospital that seemed to want me to die.

It's A Boy - Maybe Not
Gender in humans has been something pretty skewed by ideology that we have lost sight of the most important aspects of life. Everyone from street people to medical doctors still insist they know better than everyone else. The reality is that we really don't know.
The first life forms on the planet, the ones we got our genetic start from, are all capable of asexual reproduction, they did not need to have any form of physical attraction for each other. But does that mean they had no genders or sexuality? Well, no, these early organisms likely had the same variations in gender and sexuality we see in the more complex life forms today, they just didn't need them, and had no brains to act on the genetically determined attractions.
As life forms became more complex, colonies of these earlier life forms evolving to work with other colonies, we call these "organs" now, genetic material needed more variation to keep the organisms alive. Enter sexual reproduction, as an option. The earliest life forms didn't need to reproduce sexually, they didn't require the sharing of genetic material, it was an option though. The life forms that did utilize this option, however, became more common, their populations grew faster and they adapted better to their environments.
Essentially, natural selection had more traits to select from because of the organisms that were mixing their genetic material with similar organisms, resulting in more variation, more life, and more chances for survival. This eventually produced more stable methods of reproduction, bisexual and orgy style methods being the most suitable for producing stable, and capable, offspring.
But life is like a weed in a garden, once it starts, there's almost no way to stop it. So organisms spread through the planet, covering it's surface completely. Plant life terraformed the planet so that other life forms could crawl on the dry portions as well. Life was booming, and the only real threat to life was other life. So the original methods of reproduction were no longer necessary, they actually had a drawback in that many species were quickly overpopulating portions of the planet. When plants do, they create too much oxygen and the atmosphere itself can become explosive as a result.
This eventually produced a collection of species that reproduced in a less efficient method, mono-sexual. A dichotomous gender system, one male, one female. This system slowed their growth, allowing the resources to be more easily divided among them, increasing their fitness within the world. But these species came from those who had other methods of reproduction, and thus the genetic material needed to drive reproduction included those of various other methods as well. This proves to be a huge benefit, because it slowed down the reproductive rates even more, allowing even more resources to be available for any individual of a species.
Fast forward to today, skipping the Triassic and other eras, and you now have modern species, humans being one of them. At first humanity embraced our primitive natures, even today we are very primitive actually. This prevented us from over populating our environment, allowing the resources to be more plentiful for each individual is what helped to make us a strong species.
It was all moving along swimmingly for a while, several million years went by and our species was improving in ways no other species had managed to improve. We learned to not only utilize our environment, but how to change it, what we now call genetic modification. Our methods were sloppy at first, but we were so very young then. But our population growth was not excessive, it was "just right" for our species, because not everyone was breeding, and people were dying at very young ages.
Then the worse thing could happen, people decided they didn't want to be animals anymore, which was not going to magically change us into something else. So they found ways to enforce this dichotomous gender system, using social engineering, we call it religion now. This caused more people to reproduce, more people to breed, and our population began exploding. Our only saving grace was that illness claimed more of us when our populations reached critical levels.
Then we figured out how to keep ourselves alive much longer, medicine, clean water, and other advances. We lost control of our population completely, yet people still hold onto this idea, the one idea that started this mess in the first place, that everyone should breed. This has not only created some serious social problems, psychological problems in children, and over all insanity in the general population .... it has ultimately caused us to become our own biggest threat.
Luckily, we are still intelligent, somewhat, enough to realize that these problems hurt each other socially and psychologically. So we are making strides in correcting the presumption that humans only exist to breed, however, most will still deny the bigger threat to our species. Over population of any species is a bad thing, not because it will stamp out other life forms, those will evolve into better life forms as a result, actually. It's a threat to our species because the resources for each individual will be reduced to a level that requires us to kill each other more than we do already.
We have worked for peace in our species, trying to end all wars, yet right now war is the most humane method of keeping our population in check. I would rather us be able to afford peace in the world, than to see the gender system remain a dichotomy just because of some ignorant humans who cannot mature beyond childish superstitions.

The Double Standard of Typical
Often people will call something "normal" or "abnormal" when talking of human behavior, but not only is that inaccurate, it is also a double standard. The term "normal" cannot be applied to anything dealing in biological organisms, especially behavior, personality, and personal tastes. At best we can label it as typical or a social standard, however, to be more accurate it's nothing more than a common lie.
Let's look at one behavior, often thought of as "abnormal" or even a "perversion," the "adult baby." There are so many myths on this matter, so many false preconceptions that a psychologist could write an entire library to simply dispel the common myths. The most prevalent being that it's a sexual fetish. Yes, it is common for many to entwine sexual fetishes into the role playing, however that is not inherent in the term.
An "adult baby" is really just someone who acts, and enjoys doing so, like a infant or toddler, even to the extent of dressing as one and adopting a parental figure to help with the role playing. That's all it is, nothing more, no inherent adult themes or even any psychological traits. Many people enjoy role playing, there are two primary role playing industries that dominate every culture, the role playing games (RPG) and what is commonly mistaken for cosplay.
The role playing of sexual fantasies as a fetish is a subculture in the cosplay style role playing, though not, in any way, the larger portion of the industry. The SCA is the most dominant subculture in the cosplay style role playing, and yes, adult babies fit into the same type of culture as the SCA, the only difference are the types of roles played.
Suddenly this "adult baby" thing doesn't seem so strange, does it? Or perhaps the SCA culture seems stranger? There's the double standard I want to focus on. The SCA focuses on re-enacting the 17th century European life, though with so many inaccuracies it's almost laughable. The adult babies focus on re-enacting their childhood, with control over the way in which it develops. If you ask me, the adult babies are better than the SCA in that they admit they are taking artistic license with their role playing.
Other cultures also have this kind of double standard, the transgendered are another that is often forced into many double standards. First, many homosexuals will often treat transgendered as if they are somehow wrong, a double standard I have observed personally many times. Another is that even many transgendered think it's all about sex, even when some transgendered will be asexual, statistically expected, actually.
The other are video game fans, by those who claim video games make people violent yet go to a sports game where they bash in each other's heads for points. Video games cause complacency if they have any effect, this is something that was actually tested and verified through almost scientific methods. Turns out, when people are playing video games they can even ignore pain during surgery, their brain is too focused on the actual game. Quite the reverse of the common claim, yet we know that football has caused people to be violent on many occasions, the players are always violent during the game, since that is part of the game.
I put a bit more focus on the adult baby aspect for a special reason, I have a medical need that requires the use of something the adult baby types enjoy. But the standard versions fail to work so often. So I found a website that catered to the "adult baby," originally price shopping, and discovered their custom made products, designed for those who want more authenticity in their role playing, are actually superior to the standards of other companies. So, I now use those exclusively, even though it costs me a lot more than the others would since I cannot use insurance to pay for them.
So this double standard hurts me, a lot, and thus I see a reason to begin attacking all double standards like this. It's time we discard such childish things, and I'm not talking about the adult babies, and start advancing our species beyond the need to wrongly classify things as "normal" or "acceptable," just live, and let live.
